Honey Bunny - Custom

Recently I got a very beaten Roger Rabbit plush doll. I was going to use him for spare parts, but at some point I decided he would make a very interesting project.

At first, I beheaded him. Why could I do that? Well, I needed to straighten his head, and also doing that gave me more space for extracting his ruined voice box from his insides (this Roger was a talking one, and his voice box was shattered to pieces). Then, I filled the empty space with stuffing and glued Roger's head to his body with some sort of liquid glue that works great with fabric and clothes.

After a well deserved bubble bath for Roger, I cut his eyes to the half: that allowed me to glue his new felt eyelids. Then I added the whiskers in his nose and his trademark loose tooth in his mouth (that was also made of felt). Finally, I cut some kisses marks from a piece of soft, red fabric and glued them to Roger's face.

So, this is the final result. I got the inspiration from the Roger Rabbit plush dolls that were sold at Disneyland Paris some time ago, although mine looks a little different =3

Recientemente adquirí un muñeco de peluche de Roger Rabbit muy maltratado. Lo iba a usar para refacciones de mis demás muñecos, pero en determinado momento decidí que podría convertirse en un proyecto muy interesante.

Primeramente, lo decapité. ¿ Por que habría de hacerlo? Bien, necesitaba enderezar su cabeza, y además al hacerlo tuve más espacio para sacar la estropeada caja de voz de su interior (este Roger hablaba, pero su caja de voz estaba rota en mil pedazos). Entonces, rellené el espacio vació con borra y pegué la cabeza de Roger a su cuerpo con un tipo de pegamento que funciona muy bien con tela y ropa.

Después de darle un merecido baño de burbujas, corté sus ojos a la mitad: esto me permitió pegar sin problemas sus nuevos párpados de fieltro. Entonces le añadí unos bigotes en su nariz y su característico diente flojo en su hocico (que también está hecho de fieltro). Finalmente, corté varias marcas de besos de una pieza de tela suave de color rojo, y las pegué al rostro de Roger.

Así que este es el resultado final. Me entró la inspiración de los peluches de Roger Rabbit que solían vender hace tiempo en Disneyland París, aunque el mío luce algo diferente =3
